did you know that when you book a camp or attend a workshop, it allows make studio to bring art to a person in need?
As a non-profit organization, Make Studio uses the funds raised from workshops and camps to defray the costs of operating the studio. For every child that participates in a camp or workshop, we are able to continue offering more programming to those who are in need of experiencing the healing power of our Creator by using their own creative abilities. For more information on who we serve, please click on the button below.
Camps and workshops:
Make Studio regularly hosts camps and workshops in Summer, Winter and Spring. This year we will host a Christmas Winter Break camp for Elementary age students in grades K-2 and 3-5, as well as a Christmas gift making workshop. Check back soon for cost, dates and times. Space will be limited due to COVID-19 precautions and restrictions.
home school art classes:
Kindergarten - 5th grade
Make is hosting it's first home school art class on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. throughout the school year. In this hour long class students learn the fundamentals of art and design while exploring a variety of materials. This class is currently full, however we are open to having another class on Mondays or Fridays at 1 p.m. We are pleased to offer this at a low yearly cost of $50 to help defray the expense of supplies and allow families to cultivate community while learning virtually or at home. Scholarships are available if cost is a concern. If you are interested in being added to a waiting list or starting another home school art class, please contact Director, Angie Cooke at email@example.com.
