Tim has been taking photos since 2006. He loves to travel and has had the opportunity to take photos in over 50 countries and more than 20 states in America. Tim has served with World Horizons in full-time ministry since 2011 in Cambodia, Wales, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan and now is part of the team here in Richmond alongside his wife Giovana.
Whilst he was in Central Asia, Tim began a photography ministry called Tsar Photography. Tsar means "king” in Russian, and Tim’s goal has been to always use his creative skills to glorify the King of Kings. Alongside Christian photographers from Brazil, Spain and Central Asia, Tsar Photography has been used to capture the landscapes, peoples and cultures of this beautiful region, seeking to capture God’s beauty, light and creation all around him.
Tim has been able to put on Tsar Photography exhibitions (called @life.centralasia on Instagram) in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, England, Scotland and Wales. This will be his first exhibition in the United States. Tim also sells calendars of his photos every year.
Tim currently leads the World Horizons international communications team, and runs social media for both the UK and US fields. He and Giovana are also involved in local ministry with Apartment Life. They are planning to move to Central Asia at the end of 2024/early 2025 and are hoping to bring a team of people to serve alongside them in Kazakhstan.
