Christmas Programs

Christmas Wit and Whimsy Workshop

Thurs, Dec 11 | 6 PM – 8:30 PM

Come and spend an evening creating a keepsake or fantastic gift for the holiday season. Mixed Media wreaths are a wonderful project for all levels of artistic ability. Take a moment out of the hectic holiday season to visit with friends, have a boxed dinner and have some fa la la fun! $65

The cost of the class covers all needed supplies.

Open Studio

Fri, Jan 9 – Jun 5 | 10 AM – 1 PM

Adults and older teens are welcome to join us for anything goes in this Open Studio time on Friday mornings from 10 AM – 1 PM. We open our doors for you to create, using the supplies in the studio as you wish.  Bring your own project or come in and be inspired by the materials at your fingertips. Kate Burns will be on hand to assist with questions or offer helpful advice. $10

Clay and 3D Sculpture

Sat, Jan 17 – Feb 28 | 10 AM – 12 PM

Taught by Eliza Scholder, this class introduces students ages 16+ to hand-building ceramics through clear demonstrations and approachable projects. Students create both functional and sculptural pieces while learning core techniques such as pinch and pull, coil building, and slip and score. When clay work dries, the class shifts to engaging 3D projects with found materials, paper, and cloth—welcoming all skill levels. $480

Abstract Self Portrait Workshop

Fri, Jan 30 | 6 PM – 8 PM

Explore identity and expression through vibrant color, symbolism, and imagination. In this guided workshop, artist Elizabeth King will help you create an abstract self-portrait inspired by the iconic style of Frida Kahlo. Using your own photo as reference, you’ll experiment with mixed media techniques to reflect both your inner and outer self. $75

Winter Watercolor Workshop

Sat, Jan 31 | 10 AM – 1 PM

Artist Kate Burns returns to the studio for a new Watercolor Workshop, where students will create a painting inspired by a reference photo. The class covers watercolor basics or helps refine existing skills with Kate’s guidance. All supplies are included in the class fee. $75

Clay Handbuilding Workshop

Fri, Feb 6 – 13 | 6 PM – 8 PM

Taught by Sara Kate Smith, this two-part workshop guides you through creating your own circular slab vase, each with unique patterns and designs. In the second session, you’ll glaze your piece before it’s fired and prepared for later pickup. All materials are included. $85

Beginning Watercolor Class

Sat, Feb 7 – Feb 28 | 10 AM – 12 PM

Taught by Kate Burns, this 3-hour class is designed for the student with no experience with watercolor or the student wants to revisit the basics of watercolor. You will learn what tools are used in watercolor and an introduction to basic techniques and vocabulary. $120

Landscape Painting with Carson Overstreet (Intermediate)

Fri, Feb 20 – May 22 | 9:30 AM – 1 PM

In this spring session of Dive Deeper, students will refresh core concepts like value and composition while exploring looser painting, thoughtful edges, expressive brushwork, and limited palettes. The format includes more targeted exercises and smaller paintings, blending master studies, instructor demos, lectures, and guided practice. $480

Guided by instructor Victoria Collins, this class begins with a gentle meditation to open space for genuine creative flow and reflection. You’ll explore the emotional language of color and experiment with intuitive brushwork that emphasizes feeling over representation. No experience is needed—just bring curiosity as we use color, movement, and mindfulness to transform a blank canvas into expressive art. $50

Every four-week session centers on a unifying theme, with projects building on that focus. $180
