Elizabeth is an artist, licensed professional counselor, and board-certified art therapist. Her work explores the quiet practice of learning how to see—to notice beauty, remain present to uncertainty, and stay open to what is unfolding.

Through painting, collage, clay, sculpture, and mixed media, she explores the places where beauty and brokenness meet. Her landscapes are studies in attention: attempts to slow down and see the world differently. Her florals become more expressive as she releases control, takes risks, and trusts the process. Her collages and sculptural works hold fragments of personal experience alongside years of walking with others through art therapy, grief, addiction, change, and struggle.

This body of work was created during a season of deep loss. Some pieces carry that grief openly; others hold it quietly beneath color, texture, and form. Woven throughout is a sense of trust—the possibility that grace can meet us in broken places, that what has been lost can be restored, and that endings can hold the beginnings of something new.

These works are not answers to grief, but a record of learning to live and create within it. They reflect an ongoing practice of seeing beauty alongside sorrow, finding traces of grace in unexpected places, and trusting in the possibility of restoration, resurrection, and being made new.
