Artist Statement
“Each painting is an exploration, a new challenge, and an opportunity to discover something unexpected. I work in both acrylic and oil, drawn to the texture and fluidity of oil paint. Its slow drying time gives me the freedom to work on larger canvases and follow the painting wherever it leads.
I do not confine myself to a single style. Interiors with windows appear frequently in my work, sometimes with figures, as I explore the interplay of light and shadow in fabric, faces, and rooms. My paintings seek to capture the quiet drama and subtle poetry of everyday spaces.”
